With 300 people attending its first conference in 1997 in Australia, Planetshakers Awakening has grown exponentially, with tens of thousands joining gatherings at multiple events around the world. A movement that birthed Planetshakers City Church in 2004, the fastest growing church in Australian history, Planetshakers returns to San Diego, as well as adds a second U.S. Awakening in Dallas, in March 2014. With the goal to see every person empowered, transformed and equipped to fulfill their God-given destiny, thousands are anticipated to attend the events, and hear compelling messages from speakers Russell Evans, Sam Evans, Sergio De La Mora, Ben Dailey and more, as well as worship music by Dove Award-nominated Planetshakers Band.

One of Australia's largest youth/young adult Christian movements, Planetshakers Awakening registrations are being accepted now at www.planetshakersawakening.com for the San Diego event to be held March 7-8, 2014 at Cornerstone Church National City Campus and the Dallas event to be held March 20-22, 2014 at Calvary Church Irving Campus.

"Through passionate praise and worship, inspirational teaching and powerful acts of the Holy Spirit, it's our desire to create an environment where you can be touched and impacted by God like never before," says Russell Evans, Planetshakers' founder/director and senior pastor of Planetshakers City Church, a multi-campus, 9,500-member congregation in Melbourne. "As we join together to seek God and love people, we will become the Church that Jesus talked about in the last days. Join us in 2014 as we seek God and champion the cause of Christ throughout the earth!"

During each Awakening, attendees will be able to join three different "streams" of activity, including Leadership, Youth and Worship & Creative Arts. The Leadership stream will offer fresh insight and life-changing principles for discipleship, while the Youth stream is set to empower those in high school or high school ministry. The Worship & Creative Arts stream will stir worship leaders, songwriters and others in the creative endeavors of a church to minister powerfully and go deeper in their personal relationship with God in order to effectively lead others.

Planetshakers Band members, including Sam Evans (co-founder, worship leader), Joth Hunt (producer/worship leader) and more, will lead new songs at each Awakening from their March 2014 release, Endless Praise. They will further sing Planetshakers worship favorites like "Get Up," "Healer," "Beautiful Saviour" and "The Anthem." Planetshakers Band also leads the song "Nothing Is Impossible," which is the title track to the new Integrity Music, best-selling Shout Praises Kids series album releasing tomorrow (Nov. 19) and featuring the passionate, faith-filled energy of Australia's Planetshakers Kids.

A church, a movement and a gifted musical ministry, Planetshakers wrapped up their first U.S. Awakening (formerly called Planetshakers Conference) in San Diego last January. The San Diego event, which followed over 200,000 enthusiastic worshippers at a Christmas celebration with Planetshakers Dec. 8, 2012 at Bung Karno Stadium, was webcast to a significant audience representing at least 52 countries on every continent around the globe. The event also received attention from FOX News Channel's "Huckabee" show, CNN affiliate KUSI TV (San Diego), TBN's "Praise The Lord," "LIFE Today" with James and Betty Robison, GOD TV, JCTV's "Hot Off The Press," CCM Magazine, Christian Post, USA Radio Network, Risen Magazine and more national and local media.

In addition to next year's San Diego return and Dallas event, Planetshakers Awakening will travel to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia Jan. 23-25, as well as host an Awakening at home in Melbourne, Australia April 14-17 at Hisense Arena. Planetshakers Band will also be a return guest at Smoky Mountains Winterfest (Knoxville, TN March 14-16, 2014) and was featured in events across the U.S. this month.
